Bairns ‘Afore

31st of December on the 31st at 5pm

The Bairns’ ‘Afore makes for the our favourite family- friendly Hogmanay experience imaginable.

Join Dick and Dom, the comedy duo from the ‘telly, playing the best tunes to get you dancing and singing along. The event is all topped off by its very own spectacular fireworks, allowing the same excitement as the adult’s street party later on. It’s the best way to celebrate as a clan and still get the kids home to bed before the madness starts.

Loony Dook

Jump in on the 1st of January at 2:15pm

Take part in this wild Scottish New Year’s Day tradition. There’s no way to shake off a Hogmanay hangover like braving the chill of the Firth of the Forth. Put on your fanciest dress (We’ve seen all sorts, from superheros to ducks) and parade with your fellow Dookers down South Queensferry High Street and hop right in. Many people taking the dook use it as a opportunity to raise money for a charity of their choosing.

If you aren’t feeling courageous enough to take on the dook, you can watch from several vantage points down the beach or along the parade route.

If you like the sound of any of these then get in touch with us here, we’d love to help!
