GOLDEN OLDIES RUGBY CARDIFF 2016
Overview
We were asked by VSL to provide comprehensive Destination Management for the World Rugby Event in Cardiff 2016 aimed at the 35+ Rugby playing market.
This event was predominantly participation based but had a huge amount of social activities involved, including the hiring of the Millennium Stadium for one week during the full event.
Day 1 – Hire Cardiff Castle as meeting point then march down Cardiff precinct prior to welcome function in the Millennium Stadium
Day 2 – Match Day 1 – 50 Matches at purpose built venue
Day 3 – Rest Day – Social Event at St David’s Hall
Day 4 – Match Day 2 – 50 Matches at purpose built venue
Day 5 – Additional Match Day at the Old Cardiff Arms Park as well as Day Trip Options
Day 6 – Match Day 3 – 50 Matches at purpose built venue
Day 7 – Farewell Gala Dinner at the Millennium Stadium
We provided full Destination Management support on all aspects of the week long event including venue hire, pre and post tours, transfers, social events and general support..
